There will be an important fall sports parent/player informational meeting on Tuesday, September 3rd at 7:00 pm in the IHS gym. Athletic online registration opened on May 1st. To register, visit the Inglemoor Athletic page and click on the “register for sports” tab on the left. Please check the individual sports pages on the Inglemoor website for the most up-to-date tryout information.
Touchbase Credit Card Payments
Credit card payments can be made online and in person. (Not on the phone) Online payments can be made at https://schoolsales.nsd.org. During the month of July you can contact the Bookkeeper, Sarah Heindel, at email@example.com, to receive your username and password. Starting August 5, email Ms. Goodman at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive your password. Please allow up to 72 hours to process your request.
ParentVue allows parents access to their personal information, phone numbers, and email addresses plus your student’s contact information and emergency contact information. You can also see class schedules, report cards, course history, graduation status, and attendance. Starting August 5, email Ms. Goodman at email@example.com to receive your ParentVue Activation Key; this is not the same as your Touchbase PIN. Please allow 72 hours to process this request. Families new to this district will not be able to receive this information until the first day of school.
Please review your student and parent/guardian contact information listed in ParentVue for accuracy.
To make address changes please email Ms. Goodman at firstname.lastname@example.org. Much of our school communication will be sent via email therefore, it is important that your contact information remains up to date.
On July 2nd parking passes for 2019-2020 will become available for purchase on the IHS website. Payments can be made in person with the ASB Bookkeeper starting July 8th, or online beginning on July 2nd. This year there will be some IMPORTANT changes to parking and the paperwork needed you will need to turn in.
1. Due to the construction schedule for the new Concert Hall we will be losing roughly 115 parking spaces starting in May 2020. That means that we will have three lots that will be sold at a reduced fee of $70. These lots include the lot behind the gym, the gravel lot, and “the pit”. While these three lots are generally considered more desirable to many students, please understand that this also means that YOU WILL NOT HAVE A SPOT ON CAMPUS STARTING MAY 1st. Parking in the other lots will mostly likely be sold out and there are no alternatives to other places you will be allowed to park on campus.
2.Due to the shortage of parking this year we will not be able to sell spaces to Sophomores. No exceptions!
3. Beginning in fall, IHS will have a limited open campus for Seniors. This means that Seniors will be allowed to leave campus during their designated lunch time only!! The campus remains a closed campus the entire day excluding lunch. To be eligible for this privilege you will need to meet the requirements that will be listed on the IHS website. There is a form with parent or guardian required signature giving their permission for you to leave campus at lunch and you will be assigned a specific pass needed to exit campus during your lunch.
When you fill out the parking application, and if you’re a senior, the open campus permission slip is required to be turned into the Campus Supervisor the first week of school when parking passes are distributed. Once you have paid for and filled out the parking pass application, the space you choose will be the one you can park in the first week of school. Physical passes will be delivered to you once school starts.
Current students will be able to access their class schedules online on August 23rd. Any schedule you see before that date is not correct. Students new to our district will need to come to the Counseling Office for a printout version of their schedule any time after August 23rd.
Starting August 26th - August 30th, students will be able to access the Schedule Change Request form through the Counseling website. Schedule changes requested via email will not be honored. More information will be provided in the Back-to-School mailer in August and on the website.
Back to School Freshman Parent Orientation Night
Parents of incoming Freshmen and any new Inglemoor parents are invited to attend an orientation and informational fair on Thursday, August 29th at 6:30pm in the gymnasium. This is an opportunity for you to meet our administrators and support staff and learn important information regarding Inglemoor policies. Parents will have the opportunity to sign up for their Touchbase PIN and ParentVue Activation Key; allow 72 hours to process this request.
LINK Crew Training
Students who were accepted into the LINK Crew program will meet on Thursday, August 22nd, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and Friday, August 23rd, in the IHS Gymnasium from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. More information will be provided to these students this summer. Bring your own lunch for these days.
First Day of School
On Wednesday September 4th, all Freshman students and new to Inglemoor students will participate in an orientation with LINK leaders and limited staff. Transportation for all in district students will be provided. You may purchase a lunch in our cafeteria or you may bring one from home. Backpacks are not needed on LINK Day.
The first day of school for all students, including returning Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors,
is Thursday, September 5.
The 2019-2020 bus information including bus number, stop times, and bus stop will be available using E-Link on August 27, 2019. Please note that drop off times do not include stop times on shortened Wednesdays (teacher collaboration days). Stop times are subject to change. E-Link is not supported on all tablets or smartphones. E-Link can be found on the District Website under the Transportation Department Tab.
The arrival time is an automated estimate; actual arrival times are determined by school departure time, travel distance, traffic, route design and student needs. The information displayed in E-Link is subject to confirmation by calling Transportation at 425-408-7900.
Student pictures will be taken during the school day on Friday, September 6. All students will have an assigned time during their English class where they will be required to have their picture taken. All students will be issued an Inglemoor High School ID card. All IHS students are required to carry their School ID at all times; also, photo ID is required to ride school busses. Because the Student ID is used to verify identity for testing, sporting events, and school safety records, it is imperative that students do not alter their appearance with hats, face paint, temporary tattoos, or dark/heavy glasses.
Picture packets will be mailed home in August by Dorian studios. Additional packets can be found in the Main Office, and the Student Center.
Open House is scheduled for Thursday, September 19th at 6:30 pm. A detailed invitation will be mailed the early part of September.
This year’s Homecoming football game will be on Thursday, October 10th, at Pop Keeney Stadium. The dance will be at Inglemoor High School, on Saturday, October 12th from 7:00pm – 10:00pm. All fees and fines must be cleared in order to purchase a ticket.

High School PSAT Testing
Northshore School District Sophomores and Juniors will have the opportunity to take the PSAT at the high schools on Wednesday, October 16. The PSAT serves as a practice for the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Students will be charged a $13 test fee to be paid online or at the Back-to-School Fair in August. To request a fee waiver, or to hear the benefits of taking this exam, please contact Mr. Desautels (email@example.com) for details.
Process for requesting PSAT accommodations
Parents can begin the formal request process by obtaining an accommodations application packet by visiting www.collegeboard.org. In addition, parents must submit a copy of their student’s most recent special education evaluation or testing results within the last three years, along with information about how testing accommodations were accessed in classroom testing situations over the last four months.
Information regarding accommodations for students on an IEP or 504 Plan
Parents of students on an IEP or 504 Plan with specific testing accommodations have three options for the PSAT. It is important to note that testing accommodations for the PSAT are limited to providing additional time for completing the test, and taking the PSAT in a smaller group setting. Students on an IEP or 504 Plan can take the PSAT without accommodations, since it is a low stakes test. This gives students an opportunity to assess whether or not they will need accommodations when taking the SAT for college admissions.
It is important to note that College Board, the governing body of the PSAT and SAT, approves testing accommodations for students on an IEP or 504 Plan, and not the Northshore School District. Also please note that this process can take up to 7 weeks.
We look forward to working together with you to make next year a success!
Thank you and have a fun and safe summer break!
