Holiday Assistance - Community Resources

These community resources are available to families this holiday season. Northshore is not affiliated with any of these organization and only provides this information as a resource for families to use at their own discretion.

King County

[Food] Hopelink - Kirkland/Northshore

  • They are not offering a formal Thanksgiving or holiday food program this year. Some limited holiday-type foods may be available through the food pantry during regular pantry hours, depending on donations.
  • Eligibility: Those that are living within ZIP codes 98033,98034, 98011, 98012, 98021, 98028, 98072, and 98077. Household income must be at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level.
  • Clients may visit the pantry twice per month.
  • Intake Process: Call to make a registration appointment.
  • Required Documents: Photo ID for every adult, ages 18 and older, in the household; Documentation for children in the household, such as birth certificates, medical cards, social security cards, etc.; self-declaration of income from the past month and address.

[Gifts] Hopelink Holiday Gift Rooms - Birth through 18 months

  • Provides holiday gifts for low-income families with children ages 18 and younger. Gift room is set up so parent/guardians/grandparents can select gifts for children. Number of gifts per household is determined by the number of children being served. 
  • Preregistration required.
  • Currently registered food bank clients can sign up for gift room appointments on Oct 21st.
  • Families not currently registered can sign up for gift room appointments on Nov 4th.
  • One parent per household may attend. No kids allowed.
  • Those living within Bellevue, Kirkland, and Redmond zip codes. Household income must be at or below 185% Federal Poverty Level. Families must not already be receiving holiday gift assistance from another agency. Parents/guardians who have at least 50% custody of the children in need of gifts. Also serves non-custodial grandparents who live at a separate address from their grandchildren.
  • Required Documents: Current Hopelink card OR the following: Photo ID for every adult, ages 18 and older, in the household, Documentation for children in the household (birth certificate, medical card, social security card etc.), Proof of address from the past 30 days, self-declaration of income from past month.

  • Eligibility: must be a Snohomish County resident; have children ages 18 or younger living in your custody; have a household income at or below 150% of poverty level; ID; proof of custody; proof of Snohomish County residency.
