Schedule Change Requests
PLEASE READ:
Counselors will prioritize schedule changes for students whose schedule is either: 1) missing a graduation requirement or 2) those who have an open period (i.e. a hole in their schedule). This form opens for submissions on January 24th 2025 and closes to submissions at 3:30pm on January 30th 2025.
1) Allow 24-48 hours, business days, for submissions to be reviewed by your Counselor.
Please do not email your Counselor separate to submitting this request form - the added emails only hold up your Counselor's ability to review your request.
2) Schedule change requests are limited to only those classes listed in the period dropdown within this form.
Only those classes that are open will be listed. Any class not listed under the period you'd like to request a change to is not an option. Openings are on a first-come, first-serve-basis.
3) Students will only be able to submit this form ONCE. Please be thoughtful - if a change is made, it will not be undone later. Counselors are not accepting change requests via email.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND A STUDENT'S SUBMISSION TO THE GOOGLE FORM IS A REQUEST FOR CONSIDERATION AND NOT A GUARANTEE FOR A SCHEDULE CHANGE.
4) (for 2ND SEMESTER ONLY) Any year-long class(es) a student is seeking to drop will require a form. Students can obtain this form from their Counselor. Parents will also need to sign this form, along with the teacher whose class the student is dropping before a change can be made. Please be advised that your request to change is not guaranteed.
5) Counselors are not taking individual appointments for schedule change requests or accepting change requests via email - all requests must be submitted through the Google form.
6) All requests will be reviewed by your Counselor. Students will receive an email from their Counselor informing them whether their request has been approved or denied.
Refresh your StudentVue to monitor any schedule changes. Once again, your submission is a request for consideration, not a guarantee for a schedule change.
SENIORS ONLY: Seniors who request a reduced schedule (Late Arrival or Early Dismissal) are not permitted to be on-campus during their reduced period. You're responsible to get to-and-from school on your own for your modified schedule (i.e. if requesting an Early Dismissal, periods 1-6, you must leave campus at the start of 7th period).
Thank you,
