Saturday: Select boats at the boat house 7:00am-9:00am

Since we share the rowing equipment, boathouse, dock and safety launches with two other high schools and the City rowing club, we will not be on the water every day.  Currently Inglemoor gets to use the rowing shells on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and every other Friday.  On Tuesday, Thursday and every other Friday, we will be at IHS for practice.  Athletes are expected to attend a minimum of 4 practices during the school week and weekends if their boat is rowing.

Land practices may include rowing on a stationary machine (erg), running, weight lifting, yoga, aerobics or other activities. Normal workout gear and running shoes are the expected outfit.  Layers are always a good idea as we often split time between indoors and outdoors during a practice. Athletes should expect to run every day.

Shorts should be worn.  Shorts should be tight fitting.  Loose basketball, soccer or running shorts WILL get caught in the mechanisms of the rolling seat and will not work. Biking or rowing shorts are a must.

This is a water sport. Expect to get wet. We row rain or shine, within reason. A waterproof upper body shell should had.  Bring spare socks and wear shoes that can get wet. Remember, there will be times when you are in a boat not rowing. Dress warmly.
