Nordic News

Nordic News is a national award-winning student publication that has been reporting on Inglemoor High School for over 50 years. Our print newspaper is published monthly and our website is updated every week. All content is generated and produced by a journalism class of 30 students and strives to inform and entertain the student body and local community.

Description: Nordic News is a class that also functions as a club since we participate in fundraising, field trips, and conferences. As a staff, our mission is to provide our readers with interesting stories that are relevant to the Inglemoor community. We are dedicated to improving our craft, promoting journalistic values, and exploring change through our online and print publications.

Activities:

• To be on staff, students must apply in the spring to be in the class in the fall.
• We make the school newspaper and go to conferences to compete and learn more about our craft.
