IHS Cheer Open Clinics

Optional, free, and open to all current 8th-11th graders!!

When: Thursdays March 24th, 31st & April 7th / 4-6pm

Where: IHS Cafeteria

This is a great way to see what it’s like to be on the IHS Cheer squad and how practices are structured before trying out for the team.

Activities include jumps & kicks, motion placement, conditioning, stunting, cheers, use of signs and how to encourage crowd involvement on the sideline.

What you will need to participate:

  • Register for Spring Coed Cheer Tryouts on Final Forms (Link to Final Forms Registration Instructions). MUST BE REGISTERED ON FINAL FORMS TO PARTICIPATE IN CLINICS
  • If you plan on attending cheer tryouts in April, you will need to have a sports physical on file that is valid through 4/23/22. (Link to Physical Form)
  • Wear athletic shoes, comfortable clothing, hair tied back, and no jewelry or watches!
